Over 30 companies from the Czech railway industry will be exhibiting at this year’s InnoTrans in Berlin, showcasing rolling stock, components, digital and signalling technologies, high-speed rail solutions and a number of world premieres.
With approximately half of its production destined for foreign markets; the Czech railway industry is strongly export-oriented, with the country having exporting roughly 66 billion CZK (2.7 billion EUR) worth of goods in 2025.
During InnoTrans 2026, which will take place between 22–25 September 2026; a range of Czech railway companies will exhibit both independently and as part of the National Pavilion of the Czech Railway Industry, organised by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and ACRI – Association of Czech Railway Industry, the latter of which brings together Czech manufacturers and suppliers from across the railway sector – from complete rolling stock and infrastructure to signalling and digital technologies, components and materials.

Czech companies are coming to Berlin today as confident technology partners with their own R&D, their own products and references from the world's most demanding markets. Their capabilities range from complete vehicles and high-speed rail technologies, drives, brakes, rails and components to digitalisation, cybersecurity and advanced materials.
We want to demonstrate that the Czech railway industry can provide solutions for virtually the entire lifecycle of a modern railway. Above all, we want to bring new business opportunities and contracts back from Berlin.
Rolling Stock
Of the heavier goods on display at InnoTrans 2026, one of the most prominent Czech exhibits will be Škoda Group’s new generation BEMU RegioPanter battery train, which will made its first-ever appearance at the trade fair. In battery mode, the train is capable of travelling at least 80 kilometres, enabling zero-emission regional rail services, even on non-electrified lines.
Škoda will also present its latest tram and winner of the 2026 Red Dot Award, the ForCity Plus 52T, as well as a slew of digital and signalling technologies.
Elsewhere, CZ LOKO will showcase its DualShunter 2000 dual-power locomotive, which is currently being developed in variants that combine electric traction with either a diesel engine or battery power. Following the completion of the prototype phase, series production of the DC version has now begun, whilst development will continue on an AC variant intended primarily for Western and Central European markets.
Finally, NYMWAG CS will present a set of three freight wagons – most notably, the brand-new Zacns 41 m³ tank wagon with a stainless-steel tank designed for the transport of chemicals, as well as the Faccn(pp)s hopper wagon and the versatile Rens flat wagon.
Components & Interiors
In another area, railway seat manufacturer BORCAD has planned a set of two premieres for this year’s show – the FLATwhite concept, which aims to introduce a private compartment with a seat that can be reclined to a fully horizontal position; and the new VERSIO regional seat, which will offer greater flexibility, a lower proportion of plastics, new interior layout options and increased passenger privacy.
Seats made by the Czech manufacturer will also be on display in vehicles exhibited by Stadler, Siemens and Končar, amongst others, whilst BONATRANS will focus its own presentation on the GREEN WHEELSET concept, a railway wheelset solution that aims to offer extended service life and the possibility of repeated reuse in a bid to help reduce both operating costs and the carbon footprint.
In the high-speed rail segment, Wikov Group will present a gearbox for high-speed multiple units developed for Asian railways with an operating speed of up to 300 km/h, as well as a drive system for hybrid-battery light rail vehicles and a research project focused on a hybrid composite gear.
Meanwhile, a slew of companies will use InnoTrans as the grounds to premiere a number of entirely new products. ZKL will unveil VOLPROTEQ, a protective solution for the bearings of traction motors and other drive systems, whilst DAKO-CZ will present a new generation of electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic braking solutions – from ‘brake by wire’ to ‘brake by air’ systems – as well as, for the first time, products in the field of safety solutions.
Digitalisation, Autonomous Operations and Communication Technologies
Across the event, Czech companies will showcase their own, brand-new technologies relating to digitalisation, automation and future management of railways. AŽD will present railway signalling solutions, the European Train Control System ETCS, autonomous operation and infrastructure diagnostics (including an autonomous drone designed for infrastructure monitoring), and technologies used in the development of the autonomous EDITA vehicle.
Elsewhere, TTC MARCONI will showcase a hybrid critical wireless communications solution that aims to link the future European railway communication standard FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) with MCX and DMR Tier III systems, whilst new solutions from Passengera will seek to offer a new way to modernise passenger information systems gradually without the need to replace all on-board technology, and OLTIS Group will present the Safira platform, which is used for data sharing among railway undertakings, wagon keepers, terminals, private sidings, freight forwarders and customers.
Infrastructure
Finally; MORAVIA STEEL – TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, the only manufacturer of rails and railway accessories in the Czech Republic, will be on hand to present its products, which it not only sells to European markets but also to the United States, Canada and the Middle East.
In total, 16 ACRI member companies will be represented at the joint National Pavilion of the Czech Railway Industry in Hall 9, Stand 310. These companies are comprised of AV R&D, FERRIVIA CON, HZP, Pars Komponenty, PASSENGERA, ReDat Recording, RETEX, ROSTEX VYŠKOV, SKD TRADE, STARMON, SVÚM, SVV Praha, ŠKODA PARS, T-CZ, TTC Controls and VÚKV.
Other ACRI members will have their own stands in the individual halls of the Berlin exhibition grounds and, in the case of rolling-stock manufacturers, also in the outdoor display areas and on the track display.
