Boston Is Proud of Its Subway

Since North America’s first public transportation tunnel was built in Boston in 1897, New England has been especially proud to call the first subway in the States its own.

In turn, we are proud to announce that our intercontinental team of employees from the U.S. subsidiary as well as the headquarters in Germany has now been welcomed to Everett, MA at the Metro Main Workshop for the project kick-off.

Now that all pending questions have been answered, the company is looking forward to the coming year and a new RADS type wheelset press, which will replace the existing machine from 1995.

Our machine offers numerous advantages in this project:

  • You need only 1/3 hydraulic oil
  • It requires only half the space
  • It requires only a fraction of the electrical energy

Thus, we can contribute a part to the Green New Deal proclaimed in Boston.
