Bombardier Celebrates 100 Years of Rail Control Leadership

Bombardier is celebrating 100 years of leadership in rail signalling. The century will be a celebration of its Rail Control Solutions (RCS) division, and will be marked world wide by a series of employee events reflecting the global reach of Bombardier’s rail control business. The technology produced have transformed rail travel and the have contributed greatly to the signalling industry.
Bombardier Rail Signal Solutions
The anniversary is celebrated on the date of the inauguration of the Ericsson Railway Technical Department in Sweden, an important business to the Bombardier rail control business. Since then, Bombardiers RCS presence has expanded to include over 3,600 employees at 27 sites on six continents.
