Bombardier Appoints President of Americas Division

Bombardier Transportation has appointed Benoit Brossoit as new President of Bombardier Transportation’s Americas Division, overseeing  engineering, project, production, business development and stakeholder-related activities for the region.

Laurent Troger, President of Bombardier Transportation:

“With Benoit Brossoit, a highly dynamic and experienced executive is joining Bombardier Transportation. He successfully combines sound knowledge in industrial engineering with excellent management skills and leadership. Benoit will be instrumental in improving our performance and competitiveness in this key region.”

Mr. Brossoit was previously Senior Vice President, Operations for United Technologies Corporation. He has worked in senior management for General Motors and Pratt & Whitney Canada, and has experience of guiding organisations through formative transitions in complex markets. He is a graduate of Kettering University in Michigen and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Business Management Diploma from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in Charlottesville.
