The BITZER success story began 90 years ago: in 1934, the Swabian inventor Martin Bitzer laid the foundations in a small workshop in Sindelfingen, Germany.
Did you know that in the beginning he did not manufacture compressors, but thermostatic expansion valves made of steel? However, production quickly grew and compressors became our core business.
Today, with 75 locations in 40 countries and more than 4,000 employees, BITZER has long been a global player that sets international standards in the forward-looking refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump technology sector.
