BAE Systems Detica today announces that it has been selected by Network Rail as an IT Solutions and System Integration framework supplier, delivering across the full range of Network Rails business capabilities including Corporate Services, Network Operations, Asset Management and Investment Projects.
The four year IT Solutions and Systems Integration Framework is intended to transform the way that Network Rail Information Management procures IT, moving away from defining solutions in-house, towards contracting System Integrators on a portfolio or business outcome basis. It is also intended to establish closer relationships with a smaller number of trusted suppliers.

BAE Systems Detica was selected for its value focused innovation, combined with a highly collaborative and transparent delivery approach.

Martin Sutherland, Managing Director, BAE Systems Detica said:

We are delighted to have been selected for this prestigious framework during an exciting period of transformation in the rail industry.

“With Network Rail running one of the world’s busiest rail networks, we plan to bring to the challenge not only our heritage in managing complex, data-intensive IT delivery within highly secure environments, but also our strong track record of IT product innovation. We anticipate that this approach will drive value and deliver robust integrated solutions that will ensure the smooth running of the network.

BAE Systems Detica has a range of clients in the sector including Transport for London and Highways Agency.
