Alstom has announced the appointment of Marc Bernier as Vice President of its North American Rolling Stock and Components Division.
Bernier began his duties on 01 December 2025, and has previously been serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the Americas, having held the post of Chief Financial Officer for Bombardier Transportation in North America when he joined in 2019.

Marc played a pivotal role in the transformation of the Company since the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation in 2021, and has been a key contributor in the successful strengthening of Alstom in our region.
In this new role, he and his team will continue to deliver on our commitment, to make Alstom the best rail technology partner to our customers and the communities they serve.
Bernier is now set to lead the full P&L for Rolling Stock activities throughout North America, including all engineering, development, and production sites, and have accountability for delivering Rolling Stock projects across the region.
