Wabtec Rail Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Gordon Innes as their new Fleetcare Director. Gordon replaces Martin Sutton who has recently been appointed as Director of Wabtec Rail Scotland at Kilmarnock. Since joining Wabtec Rail in 2011 Gordon has been HVAC Business Manager, a role in which he has successfully led the development of train air conditioning systems and fleet HVAC full service provision. Prior to joining Wabtec Gordon was Fleet Engineer and Project Manager at Southern Railway for over 3 years, Fleet Engineer at East Coast (then GNER) for 2 years and at Interfleet for 5 years. He is a Chartered Engineer and has a Masters degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and Business Studies.
Gordons Role
Using his experience and knowledge Gordons role as Fleetcare Director will be to continue with the development of the range and quality of services provided by Wabtecs Fleetcare Business. These include the maintenance and General Repair of wagon fleets, both at Doncaster and at a customers facilities, and the provision of other offsite rolling stock maintenance and refurbishment service.
