Sensonic Railway Security – Walking / Trespass Detection

Sensonics ability to turn optical fibres into vibration sensors, allows railways to detect trespassers on or near the track.

Using fibre optic sensing, Sensonic covertly detects activities along the rail corridor such as walking, digging and cable events.

This allows near real-time security information to be gathered from often remote and difficult to access assets. This short demonstration video shows walking near the track and the data, alarms and location information generated on the inset panel.
