Sensonic Railway Security – Trespass / Walking Detection
Using fibre optic sensing turning fiberoptic cables into vibration sensors along their length, Sensonic covertly detects activities along the rail corridor such as walking, digging and cable events.
This allows near real-time security information to be gathered from often remote and difficult to access assets. This short demonstration video shows it sensing walking activities on the track the data, along with the alarms and location information generated on the inset panel by Sensonics security system.
