US rail organisations are set to have a significant presence at InnoTrans 2026, with the California High-Speed Rail Authority exhibiting at the event for the first time, alongside around 50 US companies.
The announcement comes as organisers report increased international participation for this year’s edition of the Berlin transport technology exhibition, which is expected to welcome delegations from 18 countries and exhibitors from around 60 nations.

The US will have a strong presence at the exhibition, with around 50 exhibitors attending. These include Progress Rail, Wabtec and Amsted Rail.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority will exhibit with its own stand for the first time, having previously attended InnoTrans as a visitor delegation.
Delegations from organisations including DB E.C.O. North America, the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the Commuter Rail Association are also expected to attend.
Kerstin Schulz, Director of InnoTrans, said:InnoTrans has always been a trade fair with global appeal. However, we have never been as international as we are this year. We are expecting delegations from 18 countries and have exhibitors from around 60 nations at the Berlin Exhibition Centre. This demonstrates once again how important direct exchange is for driving innovation forward.
One of the new features of this year’s event will be the inaugural EU-Africa Transport Dialogue, taking place on 23 September. The session is intended to encourage discussion between European and African transport stakeholders. Morocco’s national railway operator, ONCF, will also attend from Africa.
Meanwhile, China will be represented by companies including CARS, CAMET and CRRC. Delegations from Brazil and Colombia are expected from South America, while Ukraine will participate with both a national stand and a delegation from Kyiv.
Across the Asia-Pacific region, exhibitors will include the Malaysia National Pavilion, the Australasian Railway Association, South Korea’s KORSIA and the Japanese Railway Systems Association (JORSA), which will again occupy a full exhibition hall with its joint stand.
Notably, InnoTrans Asia, scheduled to launch in Singapore in September 2027, will also be represented at the Berlin event with its own exhibition stand for the first time.
Across Europe, a number of national industry associations and manufacturers will also participate. The UK’s Railway Industry Association (RIA) will organise a joint stand, while Austria will be represented by organisations including voestalpine, Plasser & Theurer and Advantage Austria.
Spain’s participation will include Mafex, Talgo and CAF. At this year’s exhibition, CAF will display a train on the outdoor track display for the first time.
France will be represented by Alstom, SNCF and Business France. Additional national pavilions will include organisations from Portugal, Denmark, Hungary, Belgium, Finland, Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
Ahead of the exhibition opening, the International Press Circle on 21 September is expected to bring together representatives from transport associations in more than a dozen countries, followed by media briefings and product tours showcasing new technologies on display at InnoTrans 2026.
