TrainOptimizer® is a special software that builds on over 20 years of research and development in the field of passenger behaviour in rail vehicles and can be used to calculate the passenger changeover time, the stowability of luggage and the actual usability of seats for any layout. The results serve as an important basis for significantly increasing the efficiency of rail vehicles by reducing stop times and increasing de facto capacity utilisation and passenger satisfaction. TrainOptimizer® is based on behavioural data from over 400,000 passengers in rail vehicles in Central Europe, is distributed by netwiss OG and was developed by netwiss in cooperation with IT-eXperience GesmbH and the Vienna University of Technology. Numerous existing rail vehicles and those currently under development in Europe have already been optimised in recent years with the help of TrainOptimizer®.
