Techno-Elec is pleased to confirm its attendance at InnoTrans 2026, the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology, taking place in Berlin from 22nd to 25th September. The company will be exhibiting in the French Pavilion, Hall 11.2, Stand 270, where visitors are welcome to meet the team and see its range of relay solutions for rail applications.

Techno-Elec Measuring Relays for Rail
Measuring relays

For more than 80 years, Techno-Elec has designed and manufactured sensitive relays for the rail industry, working with rail operators, rolling stock manufacturers, and infrastructure suppliers worldwide. Based in Gorcy, in the Lorraine region of France, the company’s roots go back to 1935, when its early relay designs won recognition at the Concours Lépine awards. That heritage continues today in a product range built specifically for the demands of electrical traction systems.

At InnoTrans, Techno-Elec will showcase its current, voltage and differential relays, developed for use both onboard rolling stock and across trackside infrastructure. The relays detect abnormal voltage and current conditions, including overloads, ground faults and differential faults, protecting personnel and equipment on networks operating at 750V, 1500V and 3000V DC. Each relay is tailored to the customer’s specification, offering high galvanic isolation, resistance to high overloads and operation without auxiliary power or ongoing maintenance.

The company’s products are built to meet railway standards including EN 45545, EN 50124-1, EN 50163 and IEC 60077, and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification. More than half of Techno-Elec’s turnover now comes from exports, with relays installed in over 60 countries, supporting metro, tram and high-speed rail networks around the world.

Andre Provot, Techno-Elec, said:

InnoTrans is an important moment for us to meet operators, integrators and infrastructure teams face to face and talk through the protection challenges they are working on. We are looking forward to showing what our relays can do and hearing directly from the industry about what comes next.

Visitors to Hall 11.2, Stand 270 will be able to see examples of the relay range on display and speak with the Techno-Elec team about custom protection solutions for their own projects. More detail on what will be on the stand will follow in the coming weeks.

Techno-Elec will be exhibiting at InnoTrans 2026, French Pavilion, Hall 11.2, Stand 270, from 22nd to 25th September in Berlin.
