Euroguarco Group is composed of three companies that have been active for years in the rolling stock market: Euroguarco Spa, Intersys Srl and the Startup Eurorail Srl. The group operates in partnership with SBF, an affirmed engineering company in the rolling stock business.
People behind the companies are professionals who have a combined experience of 50 years in the railway market. The group was created with the aim of developing integrated solutions that can deliver value for the customers.
Integrated Pre-Fitted Air Duct
Euroguarco Group’s mission is to develop technical solutions that can help customers achieve reductions in weight, installation time and cost.
The integrated pre-fitted solution is a concept that is completely tailor made based on customer needs and co-developed by Euroguarco Group and the customer itself. The idea of integrated solutions was born of the cooperation of three companies with the same owner:
- Euroguarco Spa – a company leader in the design and production of low weight air ducts and low weight thermoacoustic insulation materials
- Intersys Srl – a company leader in the design and production of internal and external LED lighting systems
- Eurorail Srl – a company specializing in the design and production of pre-fitted flooring systems
The main advantages of the integrated air duct are outlined below.
Weight Reduction
The air duct is shaped to host the cables on its outer surface. It implies a reduction in the number of cable trays to be installed on board.
Integration Based on Customer Requirements
The level of integration among the products can be decided together with the customers thanks to a high level of flexibility (air duct + ceiling + lights; air duct + ceiling; ceiling + lights etc).
Installation Cost Saving
Being pre-fitted in Euroguarco Group factories, the product can be “plug-and-play” based on customer requirements.
One-Stop Supplier
A single supplier for up to three systems (air ducts, ceilings, lighting systems, information systems).
Maintenance Reduction
Thanks to a co-engineering collaboration between Euroguarco Group and the customer from the beginning, the integrated solution aims to reduce the time and cost for maintenance at a later stage of the project.
