Suppliers for Sydney Airport Metro Shortlisted

Two companies have been shortlisted for the key construction contract on the new metro line that will connect Greater Western Sydney and the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport.

The ultimately successful tenderer will construct more than 10km of viaducts, bridges and embankments to support the railway tracks and associated infrastructure. The companies shortlisted for the Surface and Civil Alignment Works contract on this project are:

  • CPB Contractors Pty Ltd
  • Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd

The contract will likely be awarded in early 2022.

The Australian and NSW governments are together delivering the 23km metro railway and its six stations between St Marys and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, including two stations at the airport.
