Siemens Mobility is celebrating an anniversary: on 22 October 2021, the 1000th Vectron locomotive left the company’s site in Munich-Allach, where it builds all of these locomotives.
This milestone locomotive is on its way to Denmark, where it will be put into service by the Danish State Railways.

In total, Siemens Mobility has sold 1,122 Vectron locomotives to 57 customers in 16 countries. The locomotives based on the Vectron platform are approved for operation in 20 European countries. The operational fleet has accumulated in excess of 500 million kilometres to date.
