In October, Roediger Vacuum won a truly incredible project and we are thrilled to be providing the entire supply and disposal system for Deutsche Bahn’s new ICE maintenance facility in Dortmund Hafen!
This is an amazing opportunity to bring our vacuum technology to one of Deutsche Bahn’s most important facilities, contributing to the future of railway operations. This prestigious project is not only a major milestone for Roediger but also a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
For the new ICE maintenance facility in Dortmund Hafen, Roediger will supply the entire vacuum-based supply and disposal system – a major project for both Deutsche Bahn and Roediger, allowing us to bring our expertise in vacuum technology to ensure efficient service and maintenance of ICE trains.

Who’s on the team? Since the tender phase, our team has been excited and driven to bring this project to life. Our project manager, Mathias Pietsch, is leading the development alongside our site manager, construction and electrical teams, and commercial departments, all working to achieve completion by early 2027.
