For many years, EAO has stood for precisely these values with its Series 04 switching elements – whether in railway, industrial machinery or electrical control systems and automation equipment. EAO is now launching a revised version of the renowned and long-lasting Series 04 switching element, which combines advanced materials with innovative manufacturing processes.
The revised switching element has a new design – in addition to a new housing colour, the previously transparent side walls have been replaced by black side panels made of high-quality V0 plastic. In general, the proportion of V0 materials has been increased, further improving safety in terms of smoke and fire resistant (in accordance with EN 45545). In addition, care has been taken to ensure that the new materials used meet the latest environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.

New, modern design and a long lasting, ultrasonically welded housing, but the same proven switching mechanism: EAO’s characteristic click sound and tactile haptics remain unchanged in
the new version.
