Stadler and Transports publics genevois (TPG) have signed a contract for the supply of 38 TRAMLINK trams in Geneva, alongside the option for up to 25 additional vehicles.
The TRAMLINK trams will operate on TPG’s upcoming network expansion, with the first of the new vehicles scheduled to start operations in 2025.
The two-way vehicles are 44 metres long and 2.3 metres wide. They can each transport up to 250 passengers.
Every TRAMLINK is equipped with an air conditioning system that runs on natural CO2, contributing towards the environmentally-friendly operation of the vehicles.
In addition, the trams have low floors and are barrier-free throughout.

This contract builds upon Stadler and TPG’s ongoing relationship, which has previously delivered 41 TANGO trams to Geneva.
