Powernet Presents ADCR1100 Robust Battery Charger and Power Supply for Harsh Environments

The ADCR1100 is the first member of a robust family (IP54/56 protected) of battery chargers and power supplies for rough environments. It features CAN Bus connectivity and a new user interface operated by high intensity LED’s and is available both in fan cooled and passive cooled versions.

The ADCR1100 is available for deliveries immediately. The ADCR1100 is mainly targeted for battery charging applications for electric trucks and other moving vehicles in the transportation segment. Optional IP56 protection ensures the ADCR1100 can withstand heavy sprays of water in an outdoor application. Versions with output voltages of 24V, 36V and 48V are now available. An intuitive user interface makes it possible to configure the unit for different charging algorithms as well as read the state of the charger through a series of LED-light combinations.

Further members of the family will feature even higher power in the range of 2-3kW.

The ADCR1100 brings a new form factor of battery chargers and power supplies for the IP56 protected 1kW power range. Customers who need units for harsh environments often prefer convection cooling, which is now available as a standard option.
