The new product is designed not only to protect but also to save installation and maintenance costs and time, while potentially integrating additional functions into the DC circuit breaker.
One of the key advantages of the NEW metallic enclosure is its unrivalled versatility compared to traditional polyester enclosures. While the polyester enclosures are limited to accommodating only DC circuit breakers, the metallic enclosure takes integration to the next level. It can integrate not only the DC circuit breaker but also voltage and current sensors with class 0,5 R or less, as well as additional functions, providing an all-in-one solution for the vehicle control and protection.
Other benefits:
- The NEW metallic enclosure does not require an additional supporting frame to be installed on the vehicle. It is a self-supporting enclosure, ready to install and to connect.
- Can be delivered with high voltage cable bushings for a direct connection without opening the box, or with cable glands as on the typical polyester enclosure.
- IP protection index is upgraded up to IP56.
- The metallic enclosure can also be walked on, in option, for an easier vehicle roof maintenance.
- Customizable outer colour.
