The Rail Alliance is the largest B2B networking organisation for the rail industry in the UK. It specialises in advising its members on international trade and convening networking events for suppliers, including Rail Live.

Lucy Prior has worked for the organisation since 2014 and liaised with bodies and businesses in the UK and across the world, including the British government’s Department for International Trade and the EU’s Peres Project. She was appointed MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours 2018.

Lucy Prior said:

“It has been an exceptionally tough decision to leave the Rail Alliance which really has been home for me for the last four years.  I consider myself truly lucky to have worked with an amazing team and also to have been able to forge deep working relationships with so many of our members, collaborators and stakeholders.  My role at RTS is a wonderful opportunity to apply much of the experience I have acquired at the Rail Alliance and elsewhere”.

Colin Flack, Chairman of the Rail Alliance, said:

“Lucy’s energy and sheer enthusiasm for what she does has been exemplary and she will be sorely missed not only be us but also members with whom she has become a very familiar face as a key member of the Rail Alliance team. We wish Lucy the very best of luck and we look forward to working with RTS Solutions as a new member”.

RTS Solutions is a transportation software engineering company that specialises in end-to-end integrated solutions from the management of incidents and faults to work sites & resources. They also develop machine plant and asset/inventory management applications.

Lucy Prior intends to remain a ‘very proactive Rail Alliance member’ even after leaving the organisation and said:

“I’ve been there from the very early days and have every expectation that the organisation and its members will go from strength to strength!”

The Rail Alliance also confirmed that they will be attending InnoTrans 2o18 in September.
