LA Metro has released a Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the C Line (Green) extension in Los Angeles, California.

This project would extend the C Line for 4.5 miles from the existing Marine Station in Redondo Beach to the new Torrance Transit Center.

The extension would include two new stations in the South Bay and would connect to the K Line, J (Silver) Line and A (Blue) Line.

The Draft Environmental Impact Report for the C Line extension to Torrance is available for public review through 27 March 2023

The DEIR can be viewed here. It studies three potential routes for the C Line extension and their environmental impacts.

A separate project is also studying the potential to extend the K Line north to connect with the D (Purple) Line under Wilshire Boulevard and the B (Red) Line in Hollywood.

This would allow for a future north/south rail line in LA that extends all the way from Torrance to Hollywood.
