The board of Norrtg have decided that the regional train services are to be run by Svenska Tgkompaniet and are to bemaintained by EuroMaint for the next nine years. This contract covers six routes in Northern Sweden. The contract starts on the 20th August 2016 and will go on for nine years, until December 2025.

EuroMaint Maintenance for Norrtg

We are delighted to be trusted to carry out maintenance for Norrtg. We have a strong organisation and look forward to being involved with and developing rail services in Norrland together with Tgkompaniet,” says Ove Bergkvist, CEO of EuroMaint.

EuroMaint will be maintaining the X11, X62 and Y31 fleets at the Norrtg’s workshop in Ume. The X50 and all machining will be carried out in EuroMaint’s workshop in Notviken, Lulea.

“A consistent theme in Norrtg’s procurement was a desire for stable and punctual traffic. Tgkompaniet and Euromaint form a strong partnership that will deliver on Norrtg’s wishes,” says Mats Gustafsson, CEO of Tgkompaniet.
