Dialight Debuts New SafeSite® Bulkhead and ProSite Floodlight

Dialight Group, the global leader in industrial LED lighting solutions, has today launched two new lighting products specifically for hazardous area applications in the EMEA and APAC markets.

The SafeSite® Bulkhead and ProSite Floodlight are both backed by Hazardous Area certification (SafeSite® for Zone 1, 2, 21 and 22, and ProSite for Zone 2, 21 and 22), offering significant improvements to product performance and ensuring dependable and worry-free performance, even in the most challenging environments. The new Bulkhead and Floodlight’s compact forms are ideal for multiple applications and feature the widest ambient temperature rating on the market.

The rugged and versatile SafeSite® Bulkhead offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for retrofitting existing projects, or for installation at greenfield projects. Constructed with marine grade aluminium and producing up to 150 lumens per watt, the light can offer a two-for-one substitute for traditional lighting solutions, maximising installation savings.

Producing up to 6,500 lumens with the market’s broadest ambient temperature range (-40°C to +65°C) and ingress and impact ratings of IP66/67 and IK10 respectively, the SafeSite® Bulkhead also offers multiple colour temperatures including 5000K, 4000K, 2700K, amber models and now green to ensure local wildlife are not disrupted and battery backup options for emergency applications.

The ProSite Floodlights, originally launched for solely industrial applications last year, are now available for a diverse range of hazardous area facilities providing superior visibility to external worksites with crisp, near daylight illumination to ensure safety and security.

The floodlights feature a modular, scalable form allowing customisation to individual requirements and are currently available in 12,000 – 65,000 lumen models, reaching up to 165 Lumens Per Watt (LPW), for mounting heights of up to 30 metres. They integrate highly efficient precision optics, offering a wide range of beam patterns from narrow-spot to very wide, symmetric or asymmetric, and provide maximum protection against water, dust, debris, vibration and impact with IP66/67, and IK10 ratings. The lights can withstand a variety of environmental conditions with a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C and come with corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel mounting hardware as standard.

Both the SafeSite® Bulkhead and ProSite Floodlight come with Dialight’s industry-leading 10 year warranty.

Launching the products, Fariyal Khanbabi, Dialight Group Chief Executive, commented:

“Dialight has a proud heritage of designing best-in-class lighting products for some of the most challenging work sites on earth. We are very pleased to bring the performance and quality of our SafeSite® Bulkhead and ProSite Floodlight to Hazardous Area applications where explosive atmospheres necessitate advanced protection methods to safeguard human life. With rising environmental concerns and energy cost, our energy-efficient and environmentally friendly products are making a real difference.”
