British Steel to Exhibit Premium Rail Offering at InnoTrans 2022

British Steel will be promoting its smart rail products for sustainable track systems at InnoTrans 2022 from 20-23 September at Messe Berlin.

After what has been a very challenging period for the exhibition industry and 4 years without its flagship exhibitions, InnoTrans 2022 will once again take place in Berlin.

Usually taking place every 2 years, InnoTrans is the world’s largest trade fair for the rail transport industry. Sub-divided into 5 trade fair segments – Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 42 halls available at Berlin’s Exhibition Grounds.

We’ll be located at Hall 21, Stand 240, where we’ll be showcasing our premium range of smart rail products, designed to help the industry achieve sustainable track systems with longer infrastructure life and fewer maintenance requirements.

Amongst products on display:

  • High-Performance rail – Our non-heat-treated rail range offers improved protection against wear, rolling contact fatigue and plastic deformation
  • Zinoco® – Our durable coated rail offers excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive environments such as coastal areas, wet tunnels and level crossings
  • Steel sleepers – Our steel sleepers help reduce track construction and renewal costs through lower ballast requirements, quicker installation times and ease of transportation

We’ll also be showcasing our crane rail products. Developed for overhead gantry and floor-mounted cranes in ports, warehouses and shipyards, our crane rail range is available in a wide range of strengths and sizes.
