Alstom has announced the launch of the 12th edition of its Talent Energy Programme in Spain.

Designed for final-year university students and recent graduates, the initiative combines postgraduate education with practical work experience, equipping participants with the skills required to excel in the railway sector.

The programme offers scholarships for postgraduate studies and professional placements at Alstom’s facilities in Madrid and Barcelona, beginning in February 2025.

This year, 16 candidates from diverse academic backgrounds will join the programme, including students specialising in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Organisation, Digital Transformation, and Business Administration.

Participants will work at Alstom’s Signalling and Railway Safety Centre in Madrid or its Santa Perpètua industrial site near Barcelona, which focuses on designing and manufacturing trams, metros, and regional trains.

A key feature of the programme is the integration of postgraduate education and hands-on training. Successful applicants will attend the University of Nebrija’s postgraduate programme in “Productivity, Adaptive Management and Innovation,” supported by Alstom scholarships.

In parallel, they will contribute to national and international projects focused on sustainable mobility while receiving paid internships and professional mentoring.
