Alstom has announced plans to recruit around 120 new employees for its rail car manufacturing facility in Plattsburgh, New York.
The recruitment drive aims to meet production demands for 374 commuter rail cars ordered by NJ TRANSIT, one of the company’s key customers in North America.
The available positions include roles in assembly, welding, industrial painting, and crane operations. All roles are full-time and permanent, with benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
A job fair will take place on Thursday, 6 November, from 3 pm to 7.30 p.m. at Alstom’s facility at 71 Wall Street, Plattsburgh. Candidates are encouraged to register in advance. Hiring managers plan to conduct on-site interviews and may extend conditional job offers during the event.
