Network Rail has selected SNC-Lavalin Group to deliver signalling renewal projects across the south of England.

Under this contract, SNC-Lavalin will provide early-stage development works, detailed designs, construction and commissioning of Network Rail’s planned signalling upgrades.

It will work as part of Network Rail’s Southern Integrated Delivery Team, which will deliver around 9 billion GBP of renewals in the region. This will also include civil works, track upgrades and electrification.

In appointing an Integrated Delivery Team that focusses on collaboration and long-term relationships, Network Rail aims to make a positive change in how renewals are carried out across its southern region.
