Alstom and Hamburger Hochbahn have signed a contract valued at up to 2.8bn EUR to supply new trains and signalling technology in Hamburg.
Alstom has concluded its project of manufacturing 163 DT5 metro vehicles for the Hamburg Metro, operated by Hamburger Hochbahn.
Hamburg has ordered an additional 32 DT5 metro trains from the Alstom-Bombardier consortium. They will enter service from January 2021.
