Škoda Group has announced it has acquired electrical equipment developer Cegelec a.s. from VINCI Energies.

The acquisition is expected to allow Škoda Group to expand its already extensive portfolio, leveraging Cegelec’s existing components to produce further products for public transport vehicles, as well as an extra range of services.

“Škoda Group is undergoing long-term development, which includes strengthening our R&D, production, and service capacities. We are looking forward to working with new colleagues and to working on interesting projects – both existing and new ones – that will soon await us.”
