RegioJet to Launch Intercity Train Services in Austria
RegioJet, leading Central European private bus and train operator on long-distance lines, is planning to launch its intercity train services on another European market – in Austria – from December 2017.
RegioJet says that Austria, together with the Czech Republic and Slovakia, will become its third “home market” where it will further expand its activities.
New Intercity Train Services
RegioJet will offer its train services 4 times a day in each direction on the Vienna – Břeclav – Brno and Prague line and for the best prices on the market. RegioJet’s “all-inclusive” on-board services will offer all standard items including free of charge hot beverages, internet connection, magazines and other on-board services.
The new intercity train services will be operated in co-operation with an Austrian partner company, GKB train and bus operator (Graz-Köflacher Bahn und Busbetrieb GmbH). As well as the new intercity train services between Vienna and Prague, RegioJet is planning further development of other activities on the Austrian market in the future.
