USA: Operation Lifesaver Appoints New Director of Communications and Marketing

Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (OLI), a non-profit organisation which campaigns for improvements in rail safety, has appointed Jessica Puchala as its new director of communications and marketing. Puchala, who has accumulated 20 years of experience in communications and project management, will be responsible for enhancing OLI’s marketing and communications strategies.

Puchala has received several awards for her work in corporate communications, state government, non-profit management and television news. The organisations which have honoured her include the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the National Association of Government Communicators, and local chapters of the Public Relations Society of America and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

Wende Corcoran, Interim President of OLI, said:

“We are delighted to have Ms. Puchala as a leader of the OLI staff. Her extensive experience in digital marketing and public relations is incredibly valuable to our growing team. Jessica brings strong leadership, and a fresh perspective, to OLI during this exciting time.”
