The new leading director of Signalling and Control System delivery has been announced by Network Rail, the new director is Andy Harrison.
Andy has been a chartered engineer for the past thirty years work for international companies such as Invensys Rail, Ansaldo STS and Praxis Critical Systems, delivering large-scale projects with clients including government departments, rail authorities and major contracting companies. With this length of time in the industry and working for different companies, he has gained many skills like technical management and leadership of signalling and control systems through the design, development application and project delivery of novel safety critical technology.
Welcoming Andys appointment, Nigel Ash, Network Rail Consultings managing director, said: Andy brings a wealth of experience and is very well regarded in the industry.
