LOROL Appoints Carol Poole as HR Director

London Overground Rail Operations Limited (LOROL), which operates the London Overground on behalf of Transport for London (TfL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol Poole as the companys new HR Director.
Carol has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of strategic and operational HR and change management having worked at organisations including Tube Lines, British Standards and Nettec PLC. Since 2012 Carol has held a number of interim positions at LOROL and takes up the permanent role of HR Director on 1 March 2015, reporting to Managing Director Peter Austin.

Prior to her recent appointment, Carol worked as Change and Mobilisation Manager at LOROL where she was instrumental in the successful delivery of a number of change programmes, including Driver Only Operation and the acquisition of West Anglia inner services.
Peter said: Were incredibly pleased that Carol has joined the LOROL team. Carol brings great experience with her and her role will be integral as we get ourselves in a position to meet the challenge of the next London Overground concession, with the aim of delivering the best rail service in London.
Carol said: Im delighted to be joining LOROL at such an important and exciting time in the companys development. Our people are our biggest asset and we place them at the heart of everything we do, so my focus will be on supporting and developing employees to ensure that we continue to meet and in fact exceed the expectations of our customers and our client.
I have no doubt that through the fantastic people we have at LOROL well be in a position to take the London Overground into its next stage of evolution.
