Infrarail 2016 Comes to London

Infrarail, which focuses on rail infrastructure, is coming to London from 12–14 April 2016, bringing together professionals from more than 200 companies in the rail industry.

There will be keynote speeches from Rail Minister Claire Perry, Secretary of Transport Sir Peter Hendy and Chairman of Network Rail David Waboso. The UK’s biggest infrastructure projects will be represented, from HS2 and Crossrail to the railway upgrade programme. There will also be platform discussion forum sessions with senior industry managers.

There will be discussions on supply chain issues, education and apprenticeships, fire and safety standards, maintenance and monitoring solutions, passenger experience and CCTV, planning and the importance of innovation. Companies represented among the speakers include London Underground, Setec Ferroviaire, RSSB, South Eastern Railway, Korec, Unipart Rail, TE Connectivity and Tata Steel.

Industry associations including the Rail Supply Group, the Railway Industry Association, the Rail Alliance, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Rail Champions, the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Permanent Way Institution will also be present to share their experience and expertise with visitors.

Civil Infrastructure and Technology Exhibition 2016

The Civil Infrastructure and Technology Exhibition, or CITE, will showcase a vast array of products for railway civils, track, electrification, signalling and communication, depots and stations, as well as technological innovations, tools, workwear and the latest in safety equipment.
