Icomera Recognised for Excellence in Professional Development by American University School of Communication

Recognizing Investment in the Future Workforce

We are thrilled to announce Icomera’s selection as a premiere Dean’s Internship Location by the American University School of Communication, a testament to our dedication to nurturing talent and innovation. This recognition celebrates our commitment to providing meaningful professional experiences, as demonstrated through our exceptional intern, Zachray Ye. He is a standout intern who exemplified professionalism, creativity, and a passion for learning during his time with us.

Honoring Outstanding Internship Experiences

The Dean’s Internship program at American University School of Communication represents the highest standard of professional experience. This prestigious program recognizes top-performing students and organizations that provide substantive, career-building opportunities. We are proud to be among these distinguished organizations, honored at the Dean’s Internship Medallion Ceremony and Company Recognition on December 13, 2024, at the McKinley Building Media Innovation Lab, American University School of Communication.

A Spotlight on Zachray Ye

Zachray Ye brought energy and drive to Icomera, showcasing his ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. With a strong foundation in marketing principles and skills in photography, image and video editing, and graphic design, Zach consistently delivered high-quality work. His proficiency in written and verbal communication made him a standout in cross-cultural interactions with colleagues in the UK and Sweden.

Zach’s aptitude for viewing tasks from multiple perspectives and his willingness to challenge existing methods were refreshing and encouraged continuous improvement within our team. His ability to transform analytics into compelling narratives and manage shifting priorities demonstrated his adaptability and strategic thinking.

Zach proudly represented Icomera at two industry events during his summer internship, both with the Transportation Research Board (TRB), fulfilling his passion for driving transportation equity and making connections.

Remarks from his supervisor, Adriana M. Hemzacek, Marketing Director, remarks:

“Zach’s forthrightness and honesty were refreshing. He consistently encouraged me to view tasks from multiple perspectives, ensuring we pursued the most effective strategy for delivering high-quality work. Even when he disagreed with my methods, he approached the conversation professionally, challenging me in a way that reinforced my appreciation for his involvement in our internship program.”
