Hitachi Rail has reaffirmed its commitment to the transformation of mobility across Australia during the opening keynote of AusRAIL PLUS 2025.

With more than 650 workers based across its sites in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney; Hitachi Rail is currently actively working to deploy ETCS Level 2 within the Cross River Rail programme, as well as complete other key projects in Queensland.

Speaking during his opening keynote at AusRAIL PLUS; Giuseppe Marino, Global CEO of Hitachi Rail, outlined a vision for Australia that focuses on a shift towards a more digitally-enabled, sustainable and resilient rail network.
