Eurostar has announced the appointment of Matthieu Quyollet as its new Chief Financial, Strategy and Transformation Officer.

Quyollet, a graduate from Sciences Po Paris and a former student of ENA (Ecole Nationale d’Administration), first joined Eurostar in 2023 following time spent as the Deputy Managing Director of Thalys between 2019 and 2022. He was then responsible for leading the merger between both Thalys and Eurostar from 2023 to 2025.

In his new role; Quyollet will be responsible for supporting Eurostar’s growth during a key period of its history as it begins its largest investment programme to date.

He will also be responsible for a transformation of Eurostar’s strategy to consolidate its position as a leader in sustainable rail travel across Europe, as well as an enhancement of efficiency.
