A new flat rate for young people has been introduced on Deutsche Bahn’s (DB) ICE and IC services allowing customers to travel for 44 hours for 44 EUR.

The rate allows passengers to travel on any number of journeys on ICE and IC services between 18:00 on a Friday and 14:00 on a Sunday throughout July.

The new ticket is available for any person aged 26 and under

The ticket can be purchased by any traveller younger than (and including) 26 years old.

tefanie Berk, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at DB Fernverkehr, said:

Young people enjoy environmentally friendly train travel, even over longer distances. We offer a particularly affordable package for this target group: the 44-hour ticket for €44.

With this ICE flat rate, young travelers can make as many trips as they want on all long-distance trains on all weekends in July, allowing them to enjoy the summer spontaneously and flexibly throughout Germany.

The ticket is now available for purchase until 27 July via the DB Navigator app or at bahn.de.
