We will be exhibiting our range of eco-friendly products at this month’s widely anticipated Rail Live event in Stratford-upon-Avon, England.

The UK’s largest rail exhibition, Rail Live is being staged at Porterbrook’s Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre between 18-19 June 2025. Approximately 7,000 rail professionals are expected to attend the two-day showpiece in order to share learning opportunities and build fruitful networks.

Exhibition display of SP Products’ ARCOsystem elevated cable trough and infrastructure solutions under sunny outdoor conditions.

Visitors will have the perfect chance to check out CCS’s low-carbon composite products being displayed by our partners Scott Parnell at Stand G3.

On display will be:

ARCOSYSTEM — the rail industry’s benchmark elevated cable containment system. Manufactured from pultruded glass fibre reinforced polymers (GRP/FRP) for excellent structural and load-bearing performance, this robust yet lightweight cable troughing offers long-term durability in all weathers and can span 6 metres between support posts for speedy installation. Its flexibility and bespoke range of bracketry ensures the system can be post-mounted, wall-hung or fixed to a variety of trackside structures such as railings, bridges, hillside slopes, noise barriers or rock faces. The bracketry on show at Rail Live will be our newly designed ‘Click-Fit’ version, while a ground-based ‘refuge’ ARCOSYSTEM option will also be on display.

TouchSAFE composite palisade fencing — designed to safely enclose electrical equipment such as railway substations, LOC suites and OLE masts. Maintenance-free and non-conductive with no metal parts used, this secure GRP-constructed fencing releases fewer carbon emissions into the atmosphere than traditional metal fencing while no earth bonding is required during installation, saving time and money.

Composite ballast boards — our GRP-constructed ballast boards are excellent at resisting and absorbing impact, ideal for protecting railway tracks and line-side facilities on embankments from rockfall or snowslide. Maintenance-free and UV resistant, these boards have a minimum lifespan of 80 years. They weigh significantly less than — and release just a fifth of the CO2 emissions of — an equivalent concrete ballast board.

TECHNO-CRETE — our pioneering foundation material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to concrete post mix for securing a variety of posts in place during rail construction jobs. TECHNO-CRETE is a two-part, high-density hydrophobic polyurethane made from a blend of recycled organic mineral oils from the catering trade and sustainably grown rapeseed oil. Once mixed, the blend foams to form a structurally robust, solid foam.

Composite bridges — we produce and install vehicular or pedestrian composite bridges, a small example of which will be available to view at Rail Live. The GRP construction means these bridges require no maintenance or repair, and have a high resistance to corrosion, UV rays and all weathers. Environmentally sustainable, these bridges are also lightweight for easier assembly and on-site installation.

The Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre is located at Station Rd, Wilmcote, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 8PL.
