Now on its way to Pueblo, CO for testing; the train features modern interiors and improved accessibility, and utilises Auxiliary Power Vehicles (APVs) equipped with pantographs, allowing it to draw power from overhead electrified lines as well as diesel-propulsion on non-electrified track segments.

The unit is dressed in red, white and blue livery, and was completed following years of planning, design and manufacturing.

Once the new fleet of vehicles is fully realised, each trainset will be made up of eight passenger cars with a mixture of standard, Coach and Business class seating, with capacity for roughly 300 passengers per set.
