Amey will deliver a new Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Implementation System for the Long Island Rail Road in its first contract in the US market.

The 2 million USD contract, which was signed between Amey and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), will see the company provide a number of asset management services for the Long Island Rail Road.

Amey will begin digitising the MTA’s existing paper-based processes via the integration of asset management services, creating visualisation data dashboards as well as giving insights into broken down data siloes in order to create a connected data ecosystem.

The company will provide Hexagon EAM configuration services, data management and analytics, business process mapping, solution design and build, user guidance and training, and the implementation of data systems.

Andy Milner, CEO, Amey, said:

This award is a significant milestone in Amey’s journey to grow internationally, and it underscores our strategic ambition to expand into carefully selected geographies. The United States presents an exciting opportunity, with a clear and growing demand for advanced consulting, digital transformation and data analytics services that Amey is known for. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is one of the most complex and high-volume transport networks in North America, and we’re proud to be supporting the Long Island Rail Road with cutting-edge asset management solutions.

Opening our New York office earlier this year signals our ambition to grow in the US and work more closely with our clients and partners on the ground. It's a big step forward, and one that helps us stay connected to the communities we serve. We’re excited to get started, build relationships, and demonstrate what Amey can bring to the table when it comes to smart, data-driven infrastructure services.
