Leslie Steen, Project Lead Safer-W from INFRABEL, explains the new Mobile Balise Stop system (MBS). ZÖLLNERs COBRA-system is used to activate a Eurobalise remotely.
Thus, people on the worksite are sure no train is able to enter this zone or the adjacent track until the worksite is clear. Ideally the system is used in combination with the ZÖLLNER Signal MRWS Mobile Radio Warning System, the train arrival will then be detected by sensors and the warning of the trackworkers will be activated.
