Mirage are proud to announce the arrival of our Induction Rail Welding Plant. We have developed the process and mobile Induction Welding Head to be suitable initially for CEN 56 & 60 rail profiles. Other profiles will follow.

Rail Live 2019: Live Induction Rail Welding demonstrations for the first time in public drew the attention of Mr Andrew Haines – Network Rails CEO and Stephen Barbour CEO of the PWI, along with other rail professionals to witness first hand, automatic rail alignment and an induction weld in track. The welds – repeatable & safe, impressed the delegates executing the whole process in just 6 minutes.

The development collaboration between Network Rail & Mirage was described as a “Game Changer” by senior rail professionals. The prototype equipment demonstrated the possibilities for Plain Line, High Output, Underground, Maintenance and S&C in track CWR welding.
