Ideenzug 2022: THK Products for Flexible Train Layouts
THK products for flexible train layouts: In order to create more capacity in trains and offering a unique customer experience at the same time, the national railway company of Germany developed the IdeasTrainCity, a fully functional 1:1-model as a prototype for regional transport of the future in large metropolitan areas.
The video shows modules of DB’s Ideenzug (idea train) – presented at Innotrans 2022 in Berlin- that were realized with THK solutions. Additional capacities are realised through the flexibilisation of standing and seating areas.
