Union Pacific Railroad Named 2013 Rail Carrier of the Year by WWL

Union Pacific Railroad has been awarded the 2013 Rail Carrier of the Year award from WWL Vehicle Services Americas, the primary North American Logistics supplier for Nissan vehicles. The award looked at rail carriers on the key criteria, like transit and damage free performance.

Fourth Consecutive Win for Union Pacific Railroad

“Earning the recognition for the fourth consecutive year demonstrates Union Pacific’s focus on shipment quality and ability to support our customers’ supply chains,” said Linda Brandi, Union Pacific’s vice president and general manager-Automotive. “We are proud to support WWL Vehicle Services America’ transportation and logistics needs, and are committed to delivering value through safety, service and efficiency.”

Union Pacific’s rail network serves customers in the finished vehicle and aftermarket vehicle services, directly accessing five finished vehicle assembly plants, and operating or accessing more than 40 vehicle distribution centres.
