Telent has been awarded a new, three-year contract to deliver both specialist support and maintenance services to Northern Train Limited’s (NTL) station network.
The agreement will render Telent responsible for the maintenance of more than 12,000 critical Station Information and Security Systems (SISS) assets, including CCTV, Customer Information Screens (CIS), Public Address (PA) and Passenger Help Points (PHP).

Overall, the scope of the services includes the provision of both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as ad-hoc CCTV footage retrieval and intruder alarm support.
Telent’s approach to maintenance is underpinned by its ISO 55001:2014-certified Asset Management System.
