South Western Railway (SWR) has announced a sale on a number of off-peak tickets making up its West of England timetable in celebration of its return to a full service.

SWR and Network Rail have announced that the timetable will return to an hourly service between London Waterloo and Exeter St Davids from Saturday 29 November, with journey times reverting back to their original lengths.

The fare sale applies to more than 20,000 tickets for journeys booked between 29 November and 16 December

To celebrate; SWR has made over 20,000 Advance tickets available at a reduced cost for journeys between London Waterloo/Clapham Junction and stations west of, and including, Salisbury.

Discounted fares include off-peak journeys between London Waterloo/Clapham Junction and Templecombe and Gillingham (Dorset) (13 GBP) Yeovil, Sherborne and Crewkerne (14 GBP) and
Axminster, Honiton and Exeter (15.30 GBP).

There are also a number of discounted tickets for passengers looking to travel to all stations between Salisbury and Exeter, including a third off all Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, Evening Out and Sunday Out fares.

We want to thank our customers for their patience since the amended timetable was introduced in August. To welcome customers back, we are pleased to offer a wide range of discounted fares on West of England line journeys.

Our full timetable is set to be restored from Saturday 29 November, with discounted advance fares from this date until Wednesday 17 December, available to purchase now.

We hope our customers enjoy everything the West of England has to offer as we approach the festive season.
