TMS Train Maintenance Services carry out all types of maintenance on rolling stock.
Preventive Maintenance
We reduce the operational costs for our customers by performing the time-based or periodic mileage-based maintenance of all electric and diesel railway vehicles in the most effective way. The work is carried out to the international and national standards the customer requires and, if necessary, we can adapt and develop a maintenance manual or plan to accommodate the vehicle’s needs.
TMS is a leading company in train maintenance, flexible with short lead times, expertise in all aspects of rolling stock and with staff that have many years of experience. This allows us to supply your railway vehicle maintenance needs on a “turnkey” basis including all the elements needed for the customer such as cost, reliability, availability, maintainability and safety. We provide services in accordance with all environment and occupational safety regulations in international quality standards, as the first local company having an ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) certificate given by the ERA (European Union Agency for Railways) for High Speed Trains.
On-Train Services
We guarantee safe and uninterrupted transport with our experienced personnel for the urgent interventions that railway vehicles may need during commercial services.
Corrective Maintenance
With our experienced team working on the detection and elimination of operational and / or systemic faults, we ensure that trains can be returned to operation as soon as possible.
Damage Repair
In addition to periodic maintenance, we offer turnkey solutions to our customers for corrective actions such as damage repairs, train body repairs and painting.
Non-destructive Inspection
Within the framework of the international standards, our team use state-of-the-art equipment and are fully qualified. We are able to perform tests such as magnetic particle inspection, ultrasonic inspection, dimensional verification and also supply all technical reports and certification.
Heavy Maintenance
We carry out general revisions of railway vehicles using fully trained staff and equipment in order to provide vehicle longevity, allowing the rolling stock to remain in service for many years. We are aware of the length of time that can be spent on heavy maintenance of trainsets. It is an additional cost for businesses and, for this reason, we can optimise the safest, most efficient and cost effective way of maintaining railway vehicle subsystems, e.g. brakes, bogies or air-conditioning, to reduce vehicle downtime.
Railway Vehicle Spare Part Supply
In addition to our basic services, we can obtain all necessary spare parts and supply the professional equipment required for railway vehicle systems.
Signalling Maintenance Services
We carry out ATS regulatory and preventive maintenance of CAF 65000 High Speed Trains, ERTMS Level 1, Level 2 regulatory and preventive maintenance, ERTMS Level-1 commissioning, corrective and preventive maintenance of DE 22000 locomotives. In addition, we carry out on-board signalling correction and preventive maintenance services of Marmaray Line-1, Line-2, Line-3 all ERTMS / ETCS / CBTC / ATS Field Signalling Elements, Sub-systems and HRC 32000 Marmaray Trains.
About Us
TMS Tren Bakım Onarım A.Ş. are the first and only maintainer / supplier in the high speed train sector to hold an “Entity in Charge of Maintenance” certificate from the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA). The purpose of the certificate is to create a guarantee of the highest quality and professional values in the rolling stock industry. Considering the accelerated growth of mass transportation, we understood the necessity of being able to be the “FIRST and BEST” service company for all electrical motor needs. Carrying out maintenance, repair, overhaul and supply of traction motors and on-board train components for the complete range of all rolling stock types, from tram to very high speed trains. For that purpose we developed a state-of-the-art repair and maintenance factory and work shop in Başkent OSB / Ankara with a 2,200 m2 closed area. This new facility serves AC, DC, servo, torque and spindle motors within a range of sectors including industrial, military, power, renewable energy, railway traction and railway systems.
Mission Vision
When TMS Technic understood that there was a need for an integrated service centre for rolling stock traction motors to be located in Turkey, we accepted the challenge and directed our experience and expertise in the sector to develop that service. In that context, our mission is as follows:
